Call for Interpreters

For the Conference on 16th – 17th September 2023, we are looking for Greek Sign Language interpreters who will work between English, Greek and Greek Sign Language. Interpreters will receive 900 euros (taxes included) for their interpreting services at the Conference (1.5 days), hotel accommodation (2 nights, if residence is outside of Thessaloniki) and meals will be paid by the organizers.

Prerequisites: Excellent command of English and Greek Sign Language, broad experience in conference interpreting and SDENG official member.

We are looking for experienced interpreters to work between English and International Sign to deliver their services at the AGM on 15th September and at the Conference on 16th to 17th September 2023. Interpreters will receive 1350 euros (taxes included) for their interpreting services (2.5 days), travel expenses (up to 250 euros), hotel accommodation (3 nights) and meals will be paid for by the organizers.

Prerequisites: Relevant training and/or experience in international conference interpreting.

Please note that on Friday 15th September 2023 an interpreter preparatory interactive meeting will take place from 18.00 to 21.00. All hired interpreters are required to participate. Further information will be sent out by the interpreter coordinator.
